Newsflash: Section 301 Exclusions

The U.S. Trade Representative (“USTR”) has granted 214 exclusions for products included in “List 1” of the Section 301 tariff action against China. The exclusions are retroactive to July 6, 2018 and remain in place for one year after publication in the Federal Register.

Newsflash: U.S. Customs (“CBP”) Voiding Importer of Record Numbers

Please be advised, that U.S. Customs (“CBP”) has begun voiding Importer of Record numbers that they deem to be inactive. CBP considers an Importer of Record number that has not been used in over one year and does not have any pending Customs transactions associated with it to be inactive and thus voided.
